It is quite late to post about this but again better late than never 😉
Lee Da-hae appeared as a guest MC on SBS variety show “Mom’s Diary ~ My Ugly Duckling” (Aka. My Little Old Boy) Episodes 80, 81 and 82 which aired last month and earlier this month.
I didn’t watch the show before but I truly enjoyed it and now I can understand why it is quite popular!! The program is not focused on guests who watch the sons’ footage with the mothers at the studio but despite that, I really loved the few minutes in which we got to see Da-hae interacting with other MCs and mothers who were so nice to her as well as her reactions to the footage. She was fun as always 😀
Go watch the episodes if you haven’t, I am sure you will enjoy it as well ^^
Now, check below some BTS of our girl before and during the filming ❤
It is already over 4 months since Lee Da-hae guested in tvN variety show “Life Bar” and I have promised to recap it and finally here I am 😉
I was hoping we can get English subs for the episode somehow to make this a better and more accurate recap since it is not every day we get to see our girl doing such interview and this is one reason for the long delay but unfortunately that didn’t happen and not sure if someday we will get that 😦
But tvN Asia did air it with English and Chinese subs but the channel is not available for many to watch or record and upload online but if anyone of you who are reading this and did get to watch the program with English subs, you can always leave comment and enlighten us on what was missed in this recap, will really appreciate it ^^
Luckily our friend Ely from Da-hae Soompi Thread did watch the episode subbed in Chinese on tvN Asia and did a fast recap for us there (Big thanks to her ❤ )
I really like this interview and how Da-hae was brave enough to say out loud many things about her career struggles in recent years that we might had a feeling about as fans.
So hope you enjoy this recap. Lets start!!
[Ely’s recap is the main source of this post in addition to other translated news and I dedicate it to K Vo who have been waiting and asking about it (sorry again for the delay)]
Again I am so late but didn’t get much time to write in the past month, so sorry for all who have been waiting for this post.
With this post I am bidding my official farewell for “Guesthouse Daughters“. Although the program have kept drifting away from its title with less focus on the daughters and seeing very few interactions between them but I still appreciate giving the opportunity to see those actresses together in this show.
Since the show ended we again miss our dose of Lee Da-hae and suffer from a drought as usual but I still hope we get something new from Da-hae before this year ends.
Till then hope you spend good time reading this recap ^^
It is better late than never, right? 😉
As promised and now that the task seems easier knowing that I don’t have much left to do since the program ended, here is another recap for “Guesthouse Daughters“. Will start with 3 episodes and then the rest in another post.
Personally my first impression with the new format was quite nice with episodes 6 and 7 being genuine, more real and in which I could relate so much to the students and boarders in the houses the cast visited.
I thought they did prepare well for the reformatting but then after seeing it turning into a cooking program which I didn’t like, I started to realize that they still didn’t do their homework even in the second round and they seemed to try different trendy things like cooking or sports in hope they gain higher ratings which apparently didn’t happen 😦
But with that said, overall I do like the program in its second version more than its first. And now without further ado, lets get to the recap of my favorite parts of Lee Da-hae in Episodes 6, 7 and 8!!
Although this was an expected move that we saw coming but it is still feels sudden!! (KBS has been handling this pretty bad from start to end >.< )
KBS announced that “Guesthouse Daughters” will end with only 12 episodes and the last episode will air tomorrow the 9th of May.
I guess many would agree that this was a disappointing run not only in terms of rating but also in execution and I am sad that Lee Da-hae‘s first trial with variety shows haven’t been successful but still I am sure she learned from it and hopefully this will pave the way for her to comeback with an acting project this year (still praying hard for that).
Saying goodbye is always hard and I will miss the cast; who surely deserved better since they did their best for the show; and also seeing our girl every week but I will treasure the lovely moments and new sides we saw of our girl through this program and yah I will still recap them in upcoming posts (although it might feels like it is too late 😀 ).
Fighting Da-Hae Shi!!
It has been some time since I posted recaps for “Guesthouse Daughters” but don’t worry I still plan to do that, I am just not in the mood to write lately 😦
Till I post the recaps, here are some BTS and stills for Lee Da-hae from the latest episodes. May be due to the show not doing good in ratings and not being that popular, KBS has stopped updating their blog or releasing news with some stills of the show which is a pity since it means we won’t get much HD stills if this continues in the future but thanks to fans we still got some BTS from the filming posted on SNS.
In another news, Leeteuk from Super Junior is now part of the family so expect to see him very often from now on 😉
Now check the stills, BTS pictures and videos for episodes from 6 to 11 below 🙂
Before taking a look into the brand new Guesthouse Daughters which aired its first episode on March 28th, here is a recap for my favorite moments in episode 4 and 5 and as usual mostly focused on Lee Da-hae 😉
I did personally enjoy those two episodes more than the previous ones and I am quite thankful for that since those episodes marked the last time we see the whole family together so I wanted this to be a memorable farewell as much as possible.
Now, Lets Start!!
